The Surrogacy Process
Consultation
When you partner us, you’ll have an introductory video call with our IP Coordinator. We will guide you through the entire process, ensuring you understand each milestone. If you haven't chosen an IVF clinic yet, don’t worry. We work together with renowned clinics nationwide and can help you find the perfect one.
For those without embryos, this stage will involve creating them. If you need an egg donor, matching with one happens now. After selecting an egg donor, you'll move forward with creating embryos. This phase sees your donor undergoing medical screenings, medication protocols, and ultimately, egg retrieval.
Matching
To find the best match, we’ll ask you to fill out a profile about yourself, your relationship, hobbies, plans for parenthood, and reasons for choosing surrogacy. Sharing photos is also encouraged.
Our team uses your profile to find the ideal surrogate match based on personality, legal aspects, and views on termination. When a potential match is identified, profiles are exchanged. If there’s mutual interest, an introductory video call follows. This initial call is a valuable opportunity to connect. If everyone feels right about the match, the official surrogacy journey begins.
Medical & Legal
Your surrogate undergoes medical screening at your chosen IVF clinic. Once cleared, she starts her medication regimen and local monitoring. Simultaneously, you'll collaborate with legal professionals to finalize your surrogacy contract. And when the moment is right, the embryo transfer happens at the IVF clinic.
Pregnancy
This is a time of bonding with your surrogate and receiving updates about your baby. Around the 20-week mark, you might choose to attend an ultrasound in person. This appointment is also a chance to familiarize yourself with the hospital. Legal steps to establish parental rights are also taken. Preparations for the baby’s arrival, from creating a birth plan to setting up a nursery, are in full swing.
Parenthood
The culmination of this emotional journey is holding your baby. Once the hospital gives the all-clear, you can take your baby home, marking the start of your new chapter as parents.
Traveling home varies for everyone. U.S. parents might return home within days, while international parents might spend a few more weeks in the U.S., especially if a baby's passport is required.
